YOUR TASKS

Develop concepts, draft and detailed designs for manufacturing aids, tools and manufacturing systems for assembly and disassembly processes of aircraft engines
Coordinate design tasks in close collaboration with internal and external service providers
Create standard-compliant and workshop-ready designs (manufacturing aids, tools, and transport aids) based on national and international laws, guidelines, norms, and standards
Develop solutions and alternative solutions for specific technical problems in the field of engine assembly
Specification of tools and machinery and technical support throughout the purchasing process
Participation in internal and external audits and process analyses based on MTU quality methods
Provide expert advice to internal and external customers

YOUR PROFILE

Completed studies in mechanical/aerospace engineering or design & manufacturing
Professional experience in technical documentation and the design of fixtures and tools, preferably in the aviation industry
Professional experience with CAD systems, specifically Siemens NX
Cross-cultural competence and experience in collaboration with international partners
Excellent analytical thinking and methodological skills to solve complex technical issues
Strong organizational and communication skills and focus on teamwork
Experience in dealing with various IT systems (SAP, Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX)
Fluent English and at least basic proficiency in German
