You'll lead a local WHS team, partner closely with operational leaders, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across a busy distribution site.

Responsibilities

Lead the site Health & Safety team, working closely with operational and support functions to maintain compliance with legislation and company safety standards
Analyse health and safety data, identify trends and root causes, and provide practical recommendations to support operational decision-making
Lead and coordinate workplace health and safety projects, ensuring policies and programmes are implemented effectively across the site
Conduct risk assessments, review processes and procedures, and identify opportunities to improve safety performance and operational efficiency
Champion a positive safety culture by engaging with managers and colleagues, driving continuous improvement through coaching, communication, and employee feedback

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Health & Safety role with leadership or team management responsibilities
Strong understanding of German health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
Experience using health and safety data and reporting to identify trends and drive improvements
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence operational teams at all levels
Advanced written and spoken German and English
Sicherheitsfachkraft (SiFa) qualification is essential

Desirable

Experience of Lean, 5S or Kaizen methodologies
Experience or qualifications within sustainability or environmental management
