You'll lead a local WHS team, partner closely with operational leaders, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across a busy distribution site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Health & Safety team, working closely with operational and support functions to maintain compliance with legislation and company safety standards
• Analyse health and safety data, identify trends and root causes, and provide practical recommendations to support operational decision-making
• Lead and coordinate workplace health and safety projects, ensuring policies and programmes are implemented effectively across the site
• Conduct risk assessments, review processes and procedures, and identify opportunities to improve safety performance and operational efficiency
• Champion a positive safety culture by engaging with managers and colleagues, driving continuous improvement through coaching, communication, and employee feedback

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role with leadership or team management responsibilities
• Strong understanding of German health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience using health and safety data and reporting to identify trends and drive improvements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence operational teams at all levels
• Advanced written and spoken German and English
• Sicherheitsfachkraft (SiFa) qualification is essential

Desirable

• Experience of Lean, 5S or Kaizen methodologies
• Experience or qualifications within sustainability or environmental management
