Responsibilities

• Lead the site Health & Safety team and work closely with operational and support functions to maintain compliance with legislation and company safety standards
• Analyse site safety data using internal systems and provide actionable insights to support leadership decision-making
• Design and roll out site‑specific safety training, ergonomic initiatives, and preventive programmes to strengthen the safety culture
• Conduct risk assessments for new equipment and processes, review updates to standard procedures, and maintain current risk documentation
• Champion health and safety across the site, engaging management and colleagues to embed a proactive safety mindset

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role with leadership and team management responsibilities
• Strong track record of using health and safety data and metrics to drive measurable improvements
• Experience analysing trends, interpreting data, and turning insights into practical safety actions
• Experience managing teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders across operations and support functions
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, positive approach to influencing safety culture
• Sicherheitsfachkraft (SiFa) qualification is a must
