Job Description

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and US-GAAP including the notes and the management report as well as the associated reporting in a software company with long-term project contracts
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Perform the monthly upload of financial data from the local ERP system into the Group consolidation system (OneStream), ensuring both systems are aligned, and the completion of all required Group reporting schedules
• Reconciliation from international accounting standards (US-GAAP) to HGB
• Calculation and posting of complex accruals and provisions
• Preparation of tax reporting including calculation of deferred taxes
• Identification and implementation of process optimization to increase efficiency
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements applicable to a NASDAQ-listed company, subject to Sarbanes Oxley compliance
• Active involvement in exciting DACH projects, e.g. group structure changes and company acquisitions, ERP migration
• Contact person for tax consultants and auditors, including preparation and support of relevant audits

Job Requirements

• Qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter or several years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a project company
• Very good knowledge of US-GAAP and HGB, as well as experience in legal and tax matters in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPivot an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• High personal integrity, social skills and a strong hands‑on mentality
• Ability to work in an international team and entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour

Stellenbeschreibung

• Verantwortung für die Durchführung der Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB und US-GAAP einschließlich des Anhangs und des Lageberichts sowie das zugehörige Reporting in einem Softwareunternehmen mit langfristigen Projektverträgen
• Erstellung von Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB
• Durchführung des monatlichen Uploads von Finanzdaten aus dem lokalen ERP-System in das Konzernkonsolidierungssystem (OneStream), einschließlich der Sicherstellung der Abstimmung beider Systeme sowie der fristgerechten und vollständigen Erstellung aller erforderlichen Konzern-Reporting-Packages
• Überleitung von internationalen Rechnungslegungsstandards (US-GAAP) auf HGB
• Kalkulation und Buchung komplexer Abgrenzungen und Rückstellungen
• Erstellung von Steuerreporting inklusiv Berechnung von latenten Steuern
• Identifikation und Umsetzung von Prozessoptimierungen zur Effizienzsteigerung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung der konzernweiten Rechnungslegungsrichtlinien, internen Kontrollsysteme sowie der für ein an der NASDAQ börsennotiertes Unternehmen geltenden regulatorischen Anforderungen, einschließlich der Compliance-Anforderungen nach dem Sarbanes‑Oxley Act (SOX)
• Aktive Mitarbeit beim aufregenden DACH Projekte zB Konzernstrukturänderung und Firmenkäufe und ERP Umstellung
• Ansprechpartner für Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer, inklusive Vorbereitung und Begleitung relevanter Prüfungen

Stellenanforderungen

• Bilanzbuchhalter Qualifikation oder mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung, idealerweise in einem Projekt Unternehmen
• Sehr gute US-GAAP- und HGB-Kenntnisse, sowie Erfahrung in rechtlichen und steuerlichen Belangen in einem internationalen Umfeld
• Sehr gute Excelkenntnisse, PowerPivot vom Vorteil
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Hohe persönliche Integrität, Sozialkompetenz und eine ausgeprägte Hands‑on‑Mentalität
• Teamfähigkeit und unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln
