After Sales Manager

In this role you will lead the After-Sales Service function to deliver reliable support and upgrade projects for chemical-process equipment. You will nurture customer relationships, oversee contracts and project execution, and ensure cost control and quality. The position sits at the intersection of service delivery and commercial objectives, driving satisfaction and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics and Engineering to align on service outcomes and customer value.

• Handle customer inquiries on plant modifications, process improvements, and spare parts with urgency
• Visit customers regularly to gather feedback, monitor plant performance, and identify market trends
• Develop counter-strategies to enhance service offerings based on feedback and market dynamics
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and service requests
• Coordinate upgrading contracts, ensuring proper execution, cost control, and regulatory compliance
• Lead project teams in upgrading contracts with timely delivery and budget adherence
• Supervise commissioning and start-up to meet final acceptance standards
• Perform quality checks on procured equipment to ensure specifications before delivery
• Provide technical guidance during start-up and after-sales activities
• Troubleshoot installation, commissioning, and operation issues
• Analyze operational problems during plant visits and offer competent troubleshooting advice
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering for cohesive project execution
• Maintain clear communication with customers to clarify needs and provide timely solutions
• Coordinate with Sales to clarify technical data for spare parts and provide accurate quotations

• Bachelor degree in chemical / process engineering
• 3-5 years' experience in engineering / maintenance for chemical industry
• Experience in edible oil or oleochemical industry is an advantage
