AI Architect – Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence

In this role you will provide technical leadership for Essity’s AI initiatives, shaping fit-for-purpose platforms and translating business goals into scalable AI solutions. You will collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, AI engineers, and technology partners to deliver impactful outcomes. You’ll audit data, models, and software practices to ensure AI risk compliance while guiding technology choices. • Develop and maintain Essity’s AI Technical Architecture strategy and road map
• Translate business vision into technical implementations and assess feasibility
• Design and guide end-to-end AI solutions for varied use cases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and pilot AI initiatives
• Align implementations with current and future stakeholder needs
• Evaluate technologies from open-source and commercial vendors for AI initiatives
• Audit data, models, and software engineering to improve AI risk compliance and quality
• Recalibrate AI service and support models, including model retraining when needed

• 8+ years of combined experience in Data Analytics/Data Science/ML/Gen-AI
• Strong experience in AI architecture or similar roles with scalable solutions
• Deep knowledge of machine learning models, generative AI, data analytics, and statistics
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Fluent in English; CV in English
