AI Native Senior Developer Retail Applications (f/m/d) (AI & Mobile Products)

You will design, build and enhance enterprise mobile applications within SAP’s MDK and BTP ecosystem, collaborating with architects, UX designers and AI teams. You’ll deliver mobile solutions that integrate intelligent capabilities, support end-to-end development of UI and backend components, and ensure secure, scalable architectures. This role sits in a Retail-focused Consumer Industries team, shaping planning and supply chain solutions with AI-enabled features. You’ll work across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and cloud services to drive high-impact mobile apps.

• Design and develop enterprise mobile apps using SAP MDK and BTP for Android and iOS
• Enhance ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, and expose OData services using RAP
• Build cloud-native backends with SAP CAP (Node.js/Java), HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite
• Integrate mobile apps with SAP S/4HANA, Gateway, CAP and other backends
• Create reusable, metadata-driven mobile components and enable offline/online data sync via OData
• Develop and customize SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and OData
• Lead the Fiori lifecycle: deployment on BTP/Fiori Launchpad, troubleshoot integrations, monitor performance
• Explore AI-driven features (NLP, conversational assistants, predictive analytics, generative AI workflows) with SAP AI tools
• Implement secure authentication using SAP Identity Services, OAuth, and XSUAA
• Conduct unit/integration/performance testing, monitor AI accuracy and drift, ensure architecture and security standards

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7–12 years’ experience with 3+ years in SAP MDK and SAP BTP
• Strong JavaScript, MDK rules/actions/metadata, BAS, Mobile SDK, testing tools (Mocha, Appium)
• Proficiency in Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) with Xcode; exposure to NativeScript, Angular, Flutter, React Native, or UI5
• Experience with SAP BTP Mobile Services, ABAP/ABAP OO, Fiori/SAPUI5, OData, REST APIs, SAP Gateway; knowledge of CAP, HANA Cloud, Integration Suite
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Mobile DevOps, SAP S/4HANA/ECC flows; basic exposure to AI/ML and SAP AI APIs
• Strong communication, Agile execution, technical leadership, mentoring, architecture ownership, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with product owners and architects
