For our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Taufkirchen, we are seeking a qualified Network Engineer for Data Center Connectivity or an IT Network Specialist for data center infrastructure.

This role involves full technical operational responsibility for the network infrastructure in Germany, ensuring stable and high-quality operation based on ITIL principles. You will manage the IT service providers responsible for the technical implementation of the network infrastructure, adhering to contractually defined KPIs and SLAs. Collaboration with other IT departments and teams is essential in projects and the implementation of new solutions that require the network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for planning and adhering to network infrastructure costs, including continuous development and improvement. Furthermore, you will provide technical support for root cause analyses and troubleshooting, as well as managing the highest administrative access and permissions within your area of responsibility.

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik (mindestens Master / Diplom) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (über 3 Jahre) im Betrieb von IT-Infrastruktur-Lösungen oder als IT-Projektleiter im Bereich von Netzwerk-Infrastrukturen
• Vertiefte Kenntnisse in einer oder mehreren der folgenden Technologien: LAN, WAN, WiFi, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management) sowie ITIL-Prozesse (insbesondere Service Operations)
• Praktische Erfahrungen mit Cisco Nexus und ACI, Cisco Switches & Routern, Cisco Wireless LAN Controller & Access Points oder EfficientIP von Vorteil; Cisco-Zertifizierungen sind erwünscht
• Analytische Denkweise, Durchsetzungsfähigkeit, hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität sowie verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
