Job description

Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Closing
• Support accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Inventory
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and accounting reports
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
• Ensure tax compliance including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax
• Supervise accounting staff and support daily accounting operations
• Support the Accounting Manager in Audits, system-related matters and ad hoc assignments
• Participate in improving accounting process and policies J-SOX & Internal Control
• Support J-SOX compliance and internal control documentation
• Coordinate control testing and follow up on remediation actions Accounting In-Housing Project Management
• In-Housing - Help lead project to take back accounts from Outsourced Accounting service provider; implement the accounting work in-house
• Regional work – Provide Project Management service to related companies in other APAC countries by helping them to carry out their accounting in-housing project SAP S/4 Hana & Project Management
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, and system improvement projects
• Participate in UAT, data migration validation and post go-live support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in English and Thai, both written and spoken
• Experience in Big 4 Audit Firm and with financial systems such as SAP and advanced Excel preferred
• High attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently
• Ability to lead and manage change
• Experience working in a regional or multi-country context is highly desirable.
• Able and willing to travel within APAC
• Able to work in additional working hours during peak financial cycles (AOP, month-end, etc.)
