Audio DSP Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will develop and optimize audio DSP algorithms for embedded platforms, contributing to headphones and audio devices within a multidisciplinary R&D team. You’ll bridge acoustics, embedded systems, and signal processing to deliver high-quality audio performance across the product lifecycle. You’ll work on both in-house and third-party solutions, shaping feasible concepts into manufacturable systems. • Develop, simulate, and implement audio DSP algorithms for embedded systems (headphones and audio devices)
• Design and integrate audio processing solutions ensuring performance, quality, and manufacturability
• Tune systems based on measurements and customer requirements
• Define system requirements, interfaces, and quality criteria
• Prototype new concepts and support feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot audio-related issues and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, or similar
• Hands on experience in embedded audio DSP development (consumer or professional audio)
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, MATLAB and Python
• Solid understanding of audio systems (microphones, headphones, loudspeakers)
• Experience with measurement, tuning, and debugging of audio systems
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
