Overview

In this role within tesa’s Smart Manufacturing group, you enable reliable execution and scaling of customer projects by turning automation concepts into production-ready solutions. You will work across sales, engineering and partners to validate, program and implement robotics applications at customer sites. The role focuses on standardizing successful use cases to accelerate deployment while driving value for customers and the TaaS offering. You will travel to sites and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tangible automation outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Validate customer-specific automation applications based on CAD data to assess feasibility and support sales
Program, optimize, and validate robot applications for reliable production-ready performance
Prepare and support automation solutions from concept through ramp-up and production start
Coordinate and support customer-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and process optimization
Collaborate with customers, Sales, Engineering, and external partners to translate requirements into robust solutions
Identify opportunities to standardize successful automation use cases for faster deployment across customers
Capture project learnings and continuously improve automation processes
Contribute to evaluating and integrating automation/robotics technologies for the TaaS offering
Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders as a technical point of contact
Travel regularly to customer sites, partner facilities, and internal locations

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, robotics, or comparable technical field, or certified technician with relevant experience
Several years of professional experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related field
Practical experience in programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic/automated systems
Ability to interpret CAD data and translate requirements into feasible automation solutions
Experience taking technical solutions from development through production ramp-up
Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills across stakeholders
Customer-oriented mindset with hands-on, get-things-done attitude
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Willingness to travel regularly; fluent in English; German a plus
