Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) Business Development Automotive

In this role you will support automotive customers by driving design-in and design-win activities for Vishay’s semiconductors and passive components. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing and R&D to define new products and derivatives, and manage cross-functional projects to qualify products and grow revenue. You will also deliver technical trainings and act as the internal technical interface across teams. The position combines hands-on HW design with strategic market development in Germany, 100% remote. This is a growth-focused role with a strong emphasis on cross-functional impact and customer enablement.

• Drive design-in and design-win with automotive customers
• Identify all potential sockets in applications and leverage Vishay’s broad portfolio
• Define new products and derivatives with Marketing and R&D
• Act as internal technical interface among Sales, Marketing and R&D
• Manage projects with Sales and Marketing for product qualification and revenue
• Prepare and deliver technical and application trainings

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in semiconductor and passive component technology
• HW design experience
