Senior Staff Engineer Field Application Engineering (f/m/div)

As a Senior Staff Field Application Engineer in Infineon’s Sales and Marketing team, you enable Datacenter, Computing, and ML/AI customers to adopt Infineon power products in their designs. You act as the technical bridge across design, evaluation, and implementation, shaping solutions and advocating product roadmaps. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and drive customer success in a transregional context. This role offers meaningful impact by advancing power management for modern data infrastructure.

• Own the technical relationship with customers across the design and implementation lifecycle
• Support system design and product evaluation in customer environments
• Collaborate with global Infineon teams to craft optimized application solutions
• Provide on-site and hybrid product integration support ensuring performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with customers to maximize efficiency
• Identify new projects with distributors and align them with Infineon portfolios
• Explore innovative application approaches with customer development teams
• Contribute to product development and roadmap tailored to Datacenter and Computing systems

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in technical application or field support
• Experience in DC/DC power management and knowledge of multiphase PWM, power stages, and IPoLs
• Know-how in 48V server architectures and system-level application knowledge in AI, Datacom, and Server applications
• PCB design and in-lab debugging experience
• Proactive, autonomous work style with strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Fluent in English; German or Hebrew is a plus
