Business Process Principal Consultant - Customer Industry Solutions (CIS) (f/m/d)

As a senior member of the CIS group, you lead customer innovation engagements to uncover and prioritize AI opportunities that transform operations. You translate business challenges into practical AI solutions, drive end-to-end use case delivery, and contribute to a scalable Industry AI portfolio. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver rapid business impact while shaping AI-enabled transformations at global customers.

• Lead discovery workshops and boot camps with business and IT stakeholders to surface high-value Industry AI opportunities
• Define measurable AI use cases with data readiness, process fit, and KPIs to quantify value
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to deployment, including requirements, prototypes, and acceptance criteria
• Deliver value with a fast, iterative model that ships measurable outcomes within weeks
• Develop and refine an Industry AI portfolio of reusable assets and accelerators across SAP
• Support executive-level discussions and co-innovation engagements to build trust and alignment
• Influence engineering and product teams to close gaps between AI potential and business reality

• 6+ years in Manufacturing, Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Products, or Professional Industries with operational transformation exposure
• Hands-on experience defining Agentic AI solutions with focus on data readiness, process fit, and outcomes
• Proven track record in product definition and delivery or leading business transformation initiatives
• Strong customer engagement skills with ability to run executive workshops and manage stakeholder dynamics
• Strategic thinking with ability to navigate ambiguity and identify high-impact AI opportunities
• Business acumen with ability to translate AI opportunities into quantified business cases (KPIs, ROI timelines)
• Working knowledge of SAP platforms: S/4HANA, SAP Business AI Platform, SAP Joule, Signavio, LeanIX; cloud-first architecture
• Clear English communication; German proficiency is a plus
