Central Operations Director - Field Service Organisation

In this European leadership role, you will direct the Central Operations within the Field Service Organization to align initiatives, drive program delivery, and enable growth. You’ll partner with regional and HQ teams to execute SPO priorities, manage headcount, and optimize KPIs like gross margin and utilization. This position shapes operational strategy during a period of transformation and cross-functional change. • Provide leadership to the Central Operations team within the AGS FSO
• Oversee quarterly operational reports and ensure accuracy, insights, and alignment with objectives
• Drive implementation of operational objectives and KPI/program goals with FSO leaders
• Manage headcount for Customer Engineers, Field Managers, and Site Operations Administrators
• Ensure performance against key KPIs (margin, utilization, productivity) and drive improvements
• Collaborate with regional and HQ teams on decision-making and change management
• Define project outcomes, milestones, feasibility studies, and resource planning for responsibility areas
• Ensure projects/programs meet requirements, costs, resources, and timelines
• Document and communicate project/process information across functions
• Ensure policy compliance (notebooks, patents, confidentiality, safety)
• Optimize use of resources and support professional development
• Lead R&D of new technologies and integrate into products/services or share across areas

• Able to act as influencer and change agent
• People management experience and knowledge of service business and financial fundamentals preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication; disciplined and responsive
• Ability to provide direction, develop team members, and build trust
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple global projects
