Cloud Engineer – Senior

Ensure the technical operation and support of cloud environments, resolving complex issues
Execute projects that increase the reliability, security, efficiency, and maturity of the infrastructure
Serve as a technical reference for cloud environments
Investigate incidents and complex issues involving infrastructure, connectivity, IAM, compute, storage, and managed services
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Identify technical debt and propose remediation plans
Support migrations and architecture changes
Drive improvements in availability, resilience, capacity, and performance
Contribute to the automation of recurring operational activities
Support FinOps practices by identifying optimization opportunities
Produce technical documentation and procedures to reduce reliance on individual knowledge
Work closely with the Security, Networking, DevOps, Architecture, and Development teams
Execute projects focused on the evolution, modernization, and improvement of environments

Requirements

Hands-on experience operating production environments in a public cloud
Knowledge of operating systems
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Git, GitLab, and similar CI/CD tools
Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu
Automation orchestration with Ansible
Comfortable writing code and developing scripts and automations in Shell Script, Python, Golang, or TypeScript
Knowledge of observability and monitoring, including Zabbix, Grafana Stack, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
Knowledge of security and architectural best practices
Analytical mindset, sense of ownership, and autonomy when investigating and resolving complex issues in cloud environments
Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance operational demands with environment improvement and evolution projects
Collaborative attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to share knowledge
A plus: experience with critical, highly available cloud environments
A plus: troubleshooting complex incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and preventing recurrence
A plus: cloud infrastructure projects, including migrations, modernization, upgrades, and architecture evolution
A plus: leading technical initiatives by organizing activities, dependencies, and risks, and tracking execution through delivery
A plus: identifying and addressing technical debt and foundational improvements
A plus: cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, and Huawei Cloud)
A plus: building AI agents for operations, observability, or software engineering
A plus: knowledge of AI Engineering, Agentic Systems, RAG, MCP, and LLM integration
