Cloud / Systems Engineer

Stellenbeschreibung:

Administer and support GCP, AWS, and/or Azure cloud environments
Support Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Shared Drives, Groups, Meet, and user administration
Manage cloud servers, virtual machines, storage, networking, users, roles, and permissions
Monitor system availability, performance, security, backups, and infrastructure health
Troubleshoot cloud, server, network, authentication, and application issues
Support Windows and Linux systems, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance
Assist with security configurations and vulnerability remediation
Support application deployments, migrations, backup, and recovery activities
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Work with application, network, cybersecurity, help desk, and government customer teams

Requirements

5-10+ years of cloud, systems administration, or infrastructure support experience
Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure
Experience with Google Workspace administration is highly preferred
Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems
Knowledge of cloud networking, identity/access management, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Bachelors in IT or related technologies
Federal government IT support experience preferred
Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, RMF, and ATO environments preferred
Experience with Google Cloud Identity, IAM, monitoring, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID preferred
Google Cloud, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, or CompTIA certifications are a plus
US Citizen work authorization required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Must be a US Citizen

Demonstrates extensive experience in administering and supporting cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and Azure, along with strong skills in systems administration for Windows and Linux. Proficient in troubleshooting, security configurations, and maintaining technical documentation in compliance with federal IT standards.
