Communications and Public Relations Officer

Stellenbeschreibung:

Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen the brand
Present educational programs, projects, and products in a target-group-oriented manner
Further develop communication channels, including the website, social media, newsletters, and print
Reach new target groups and expand existing audiences
Plan, implement, and evaluate campaigns and communication initiatives
Coordinate internal and external communications
Write press releases, speeches, articles, editorial content, and other communication materials
Establish and maintain contacts with journalists and media representatives
Support events and strategic public relations activities
Report directly to the Executive Board

Requirements

Completed bachelor's degree in communications, media, public relations, journalism, or a comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience in public relations, ideally in the education or nonprofit sector
Knowledge of church structures and social, sociopolitical, and cultural issues
Strong editorial skills and a keen sense of audience-appropriate communication
Experience with content management systems, social media platforms, and common graphic design tools
Strategic thinking, strong conceptual abilities, creativity, and a high degree of initiative and networking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
