Compliance Specialist, Customs Compliance DACH

Stellenbeschreibung:

Applying for and monitoring all customs authorizations
Handling operational inquiries from all branches and stakeholders
Conducting internal AEO audits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Supporting tender management
Evaluating the internal control system (ICS) and implementing resulting measures
Organizing, preparing and supporting internal and external audits/process audits and customs inspections
Providing subject-matter support and driving the development of customs software
Developing and delivering training programs (classroom trainings & webinars)
Conducting self-assessments (KPI data)
Creating, updating and communicating employee information and work instructions
Advising and supporting branches on customs-related questions
Documenting and archiving customs-relevant documents
Supporting internal and customer-specific customs projects
Customs claims management (handling non-compliance with authorization conditions)

Requirements

Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of administrative customs procedures and customs clearance
Good analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
Strong communication skills and a service- and customer-oriented approach
Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently
Willingness to travel is desirable
