Construction and Building Engineer

Responsibilities

• Studying and analyzing tender documents, drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Preparing cost studies as well as competitive financial and technical project proposals.
• Obtaining and analyzing price quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluating commercial, technical, and contractual risks related to the tendered projects.
• Developing engineering solutions and technical alternatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Supporting clients and stakeholders during the tendering and negotiation phases.
• Coordinating with execution teams to ensure a smooth transition of projects after award.
• Contributing to business development and attracting new projects to the company.

Must Have

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or any related engineering discipline.
• Practical experience in the building construction sector (Hochbau), project pricing, or construction project management.
• Good technical knowledge of construction methods, costs, and tendering procedures.
• Experience with engineering pricing software such as RIB iTWO / ARRIBA, in addition to Microsoft Office.
• Strong ability to analyze, negotiate, and communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Previous experience in preparing bids, tenders, and cost management is preferred.
• Good proficiency level in the German language, not less than B2.
