Contract and Risk Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you drive contract management for the Marine and Ports division within Process Automation, partnering with the Sales team. You shape risk-aware agreements, support award negotiations, and manage contract processes. You will train internal stakeholders and collaborate with Legal in Germany to ensure compliant, favorable outcomes. You join a dynamic team focused on process improvement and cross-functional collaboration to enable business success.

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize individual and framework agreements (purchase and work contracts)
• Review and interpret contracts, identify risks in tenders and agreements
• Support contract award negotiations and risk reviews
• Manage internal contract database and division-specific signature rules
• Assist quotation preparation and execute claim management
• Conduct internal contract management training
• Collaborate with Legal department in Germany

• 5+ years in contract law including drafting and review
• Strong knowledge of German civil law (BGB) in obligations
• German and English negotiation-level language skills
• High assertiveness, independence, and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Completed studies in business administration, commercial law, or related field | or equivalent commercial training with relevant experience
