Controlling Planning & Forecasting Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Controlling Planning & Forecasting Specialist, you will advance the company’s forecasting accuracy and support strategic decision-making. You will develop innovative forecasting methods and lead annual target-setting and monthly forecast cycles within a cross‑functional finance team. Your work combines finance expertise with data-driven analytics to improve planning processes in a dynamic international environment. • Develop and improve forecasting methodologies and simulation tools, primarily in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Coordinate and execute annual target setting and monthly forecasting processes
• Run forecasting simulations, perform plausibility checks, and support management reviews
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing forecast vs. actuals and proposing enhancements
• Support evolution of Hager’s forecasting strategy by implementing actions, tools, and processes

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Controlling in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of P&L, drivers, forecasting techniques, and financial performance management
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Fluent English (C1); German or French a plus
