Customer Cloud Engineer

In this role you will help transform Customer Cloud into a standardised, scalable platform. You’ll own the systems and patterns that make Customer Cloud easy to sell, quick to deploy, and reliable to operate at scale. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to enable rapid, repeatable onboarding and deployments. The role focuses on automating onboarding, deployment, and operations to reduce manual effort and promote consistent delivery. You will shape the platform to become a competitive advantage that supports Hawk’s enterprise growth.

• Build systems, automation, and patterns to scale Customer Cloud and make it repeatable
• Own deployment patterns and environment stability across platforms
• Support technical pre-sales with architecture guidance and deployment approaches
• Standardise onboarding and accelerate deployment timelines from months to days
• Design reliable, observable environments and scalable operations
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Engineering to resolve issues and document runbooks
• Operate across cloud providers and platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, Tanzu)

• Solid experience building and operating cloud-native systems
• Strong Kubernetes and containerised applications knowledge
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to debug across infrastructure and application layers
• Comfort with build and operate mindset, not just feature development
