Customer Project Excellence Manager*

As a Customer Project Excellence Manager, you enable and support Country CPMs with technical know-how, streamline ETO projects, and drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across EMEA. You mentor CPMs, handle prototype work, and ensure knowledge sharing to reduce recurring issues. You will bridge HQ with country teams and act as a technical escalation partner for complex projects. This role combines engineering rigor with program excellence in a global sustainability-focused company.

• Manage internal tracking of ETO inquiries and projects
• Conduct structured post-project reviews (technical, commercial, procedural)
• Foster a culture of lessons learned and continuous improvement
• Support country teams on complex projects
• Coach and mentor country CPMs
• Handle prototype projects
• Proofread technical documentation (drawings)
• Manage HQ interfaces to relieve country CPM workload
• Serve as secondary CPM for special projects

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• 3-5+ years of hands-on technical project management in special machinery, plant construction or CAPEX equipment sector
• Experience in root cause analysis, lessons learned activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Solid understanding of business fundamentals, project profitability, and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strong customer focus
• Fluent in English; German a plus
• Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (~20–30%)
