Data / Cloud Native Engineer - Palantir Foundry Experience (M/F/D)

As part of a cross-functional engineering team, you will design and build cloud-native data platforms and applications that enable customers to become data-driven. You will contribute to our semantic knowledge layer and ontology modeling platform, shaping how data is accessed and used by business users. You’ll apply Palantir Foundry expertise in customer projects and in our own platform development, delivering robust, scalable solutions in Azure-enabled environments. You will work with AI-assisted tooling and modern CI/CD practices to ship value in short iterations. • Design and develop cloud-native applications and data platforms in agile, cross-functional teams
• Build and evolve the semantic knowledge layer platform (ontology modeling, data binding, knowledge graphs, AI-agent querying)
• Leverage Palantir Foundry expertise in customer projects and platform development
• Deploy and operate applications in cloud-native environments (Azure Container Apps, Kubernetes)
• Incorporate AI coding tools into daily workflow and advance AI usage across engineering
• Test, validate, and iterate features based on feedback and metrics
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into tasks
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through code reviews, pair programming, and best practices

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Native Software Engineer or Data Engineer
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience (ontology modeling, pipeline development, or Foundry configuration)
• Strong backend experience with TypeScript or Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot; API design and production readiness
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments (Kubernetes)
• Fluency in English; German a plus
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and AI-assisted development
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs or semantic technologies; Azure OpenAI a plus
