Overview

In this role you will build and maintain a Databricks-based data platform to enable Liebherr Group to process and analyze data effectively. You will drive the data platform, improve analytics/AI infrastructure, and implement security, observability, and CI/CD practices. You will guide colleagues with best practices and blueprints, supporting data scientists and engineers. This position offers a chance to contribute to a data-driven future within a cross-functional, innovative team.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Improve and extend the analytics and AI infrastructure around Databricks
Drive the data platform by monitoring the Data & AI landscape and introducing new ideas
Maintain the stack with security measures, monitoring, auditing, policies, and data observability
Build tools, templates, and processes (e.g., CI/CD) for data ingestion and management
Provide guidance, best practices, and blueprint architectures to Liebherr colleagues
Support Data Scientists and Data Engineers with Data and AI tooling

Zentrale Anforderungen

MSc in Computer Science or related field with focus on Data Platform Engineering
Proficiency in building secure and scalable data platforms using cloud technologies with emphasis on security, networking, authentication
Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency with CI/CD (preferably GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform / Terragrunt)
Experience with Databricks / Spark, data lakes, SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with development and operation of distributed systems
Excellent programming skills in Python or Go, basic exposure to Data Science or ML
Excellent spoken and written English and German communication
