About your role

As Compliance Manager you will identify, report, and manage regulatory risks to protect FFB from non‑compliance. You will pro‑actively support business areas with how to comply with the relevant regulation and assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in executing the DPO control plan to ensure the company adheres to GDPR / BDSG.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance monitoring in the business areas of FILFondsbankGmbH, in line with the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and according to the procedures and policies from the DPO
• Support the DPO function by conducting monitoring, performing controls as defined in the DPO control plan, and drafting new policies and procedures
• Answer questions and solve problems in relation to legal and regulatory requirements for the business areas
• Interact with other second‑line defence and oversight functions such as Risk Management, Third‑Party Risk Management, and Information Security
• Build robust relationships, processes, and procedures with Business, Legal, Procurement, Technology, and Operations
• Support efficient procedures with Business (Operations & Technology) and assist in continuously improving controls
• Assist in external audits

Qualifications

• A university degree in Economics, Law, or a comparable field of studies
• At least 2‑3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory services, gained in the financial industry or an audit/consultancy firm
• Understanding and experience of German and European regulation applicable in the financial industry (WpHG, KWG, MaComp, MaRisk, BAIT, MiFIDII, GDPR, BDSG, etc.)
• A pro‑active team player with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Fluent in German and businessEnglish
