Data Value Lead (all genders)

As Data Value Lead you drive Evotec’s scientific data strategy to enable data-driven innovation. You will coordinate with R&D IT and Legal to govern data, ensure re-use through FAIR principles, and enable AI-ready data models for in silico applications. You’ll steer data economics and strategic investments while shaping how data becomes a valued asset across the organization. • Maintain and advance the scientific data strategy and vision
• Interface with R&D IT on data topics
• Define scientific data governance (FAIR) for data reuse
• Coordinate with Legal on data storage and access
• Drive value realization and use-case enablement via in silico functions
• Support data economics and investment decisions
• Ensure AI-readiness of scientific data models

• M.Sc. or PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience in data handling or data management
• Business-oriented thinking toward data infrastructure and value generation
• Strategic approach to data management and value creation
• Scientific and in silico domain knowledge (computational biology and chemistry)
• Demonstrated strategic ownership of data as an asset
• Applied experience in data management and architecture design
• Deep understanding of structuring data for AI/ML applications
• Proven track record of data initiatives improving efficiency or cost
