Database Administrator (m/f/d)

In this role you will manage and optimize enterprise databases across Windows and Linux, spanning Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL. You will drive migration projects from on-premises to the cloud and strengthen HA/ DR and backup capabilities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve performance while advocating automation. • Administering and optimizing databases on Windows and Linux (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
• Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases
• Deploying and troubleshooting high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Managing backups and recovery with third-party tools
• Diagnosing and resolving database issues to minimize downtime
• Performing maintenance improvement and automation initiatives
• Contributing to database migration strategies to the cloud
• Writing complex SQL queries for reporting
• Designing and delivering internal technical training

• 3+ years of professional database experience
• Experience with administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation
• Migration experience between on-premises and cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases (Oracle, AWS, Azure)
• PowerShell or Bash scripting proficiency
• Strong SQL skills for reporting
• Relevant certifications (Oracle or Microsoft)
