Director, Executive Search

Lead the global executive search strategy for Senior Director, VP, and SVP+ hiring across all business units and regions
Own end-to-end delivery of executive searches, personally leading strategic and highly confidential searches
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Executive Search team
Design and operationalize Clio's executive hiring playbook
Establish standardized practices for executive assessment, interview calibration, stakeholder governance, succession planning, and confidentiality
Advise C-suite executives and senior business leaders on hiring decisions
Develop executive talent pipelines and strategic market maps
Deliver market intelligence, competitive insights, and talent landscape analysis
Define and execute the executive search partner strategy and optimize agency relationships
Establish metrics and reporting for executive hiring quality, speed, diversity, and long-term success
Continuously improve executive hiring outcomes through data

Requirements

Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional Senior Director, VP, and executive-level hiring across complex, global organizations
Experience building new capabilities, scaling teams, and establishing executive recruiting practices
Strong business acumen and thoughtful communication
Expertise in executive assessment, succession planning, market mapping, executive networking, and proactive talent engagement
Strategic talent planning and execution of critical leadership hires
Data-driven, outcome-oriented approach using insights and metrics
