Overview

As Director, you will lead BeOne’s Healthcare Compliance program across Germany, the UK and Ireland, acting as a senior strategic partner to leadership. You will shape risk-based compliance strategy and governance to enable responsible business growth, ensuring adherence to laws, codes and BeOne’s policies. You’ll collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory and other functions to provide pragmatic, risk-based counsel on complex initiatives, while strengthening global and regional compliance programs. This role offers impact across markets and a chance to influence BeOne’s evolving compliance posture in a dynamic environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Own the regional Healthcare Compliance strategy for Germany, UK & Ireland and establish a risk-based framework aligned with laws, codes, policies and standards
  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to local and regional leadership, challenging risks and guiding strategic initiatives
  • Be the primary point of contact for Healthcare Compliance across the three markets with clear governance and escalation
  • Shape and enhance the regional Compliance Program to stay effective and proportionate to evolving activities and risk
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Finance and other functions to provide timely, practical compliance guidance
  • Advise on activities involving HCPs, HCOs, patients, government entities and other external stakeholders, including events, sponsorships and educational activities
  • Lead the compliance risk management framework, including annual risk assessments and monitoring plans
  • Oversee ABAC controls, third-party due diligence and related controls for interactions with external stakeholders
  • Oversee high-risk activities, ensuring controls, approvals and documentation
  • Manage regulatory submissions and disclosures across markets and ensure timely execution
  • Oversee monitoring, audits, remediation and lessons learned while coordinating with Global Compliance
  • Lead response to investigations and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with European and Global Compliance to implement programs while fitting local needs
  • Educate leadership on compliance developments and participate in governance forums
  • Support whistleblowing mechanisms and alignment with laws
  • Contribute to global/regional projects and initiatives as needed

Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor degree in law or related field; 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated industries; consulting experience considered
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization and manage senior stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to travel approximately 35%
  • Strong analytical and advisory capabilities with risk-based mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English; German preferred for local market knowledge (not explicitly stated)
