Director of Training – Pharmaceutical Sales

Stellenbeschreibung:

  • Design, develop, and implement training materials for current and future products
  • Identify, develop, and implement advanced learning programs focused on clinical acumen, skill development, strategic partnerships, and account management
  • Establish learning and development objectives and initiatives that translate strategy into actionable behaviors for high-performing commercial field teams
  • Support new hires through onboarding, new-hire training completion, and ongoing skill development
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional departments including sales, marketing, commercial operations, market access, human resources, and information technology
  • Deploy learning programs through onboarding, home-study curricula, live and virtual training, area/regional meetings, and national sales meetings/POAs
  • Assess knowledge gaps within field teams and address them through training initiatives and programs
  • Learn new disease-state materials and implement training promptly
  • Evaluate training participants’ competency levels and provide detailed evaluations and feedback
  • Work with sales management to formulate development plans
  • Ensure activities and materials comply with internal regulatory and legal requirements
  • Partner with Sales, Medical/Clinical, Legal, Regulatory, and other strategic partners to develop and deliver training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to guide and manage the LMS administrator and distance-learning technology
  • Manage vendor partners from selection through content development and deployment
  • Conduct presentation-skills training for speakers with medical and commercial teams
  • Participate in research to support development of future training materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales Training role within the Pharmaceutical or Device industry
  • Experience delivering training to a variety of audiences in a corporate setting
  • Preferred experience selling and/or training
  • Experience in HIV or rare disease Pharmaceutical/Device experience a plus
  • Ability to command a strong classroom presence
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/device industry
  • Ability to convert concepts, skills, and knowledge into a learning context for participants
  • Fundamental knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
  • Strong platform, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Project management abilities
  • Ability to learn technical, clinical, and medical product and disease state knowledge
  • Willingness to travel and overnight availability
  • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize
