Education as Mechatronics Technician

Fields of activity

As a mechatronics technician you are an all‑rounder, because in this profession you acquire a wide range of expertise in the fields of mechanics, electronics and information technology. Everything that belongs to production falls into your area of responsibility: from metal processing to electrical engineering and electronics to programming. The assembly and commissioning of new production systems is part of your varied daily work. Mechatronics engineers assemble mechanical modules, install electronic modules and assemble mechanical, electronic and electromechanical components. Programming mechatronic systems, commissioning mechatronic systems, maintenance and servicing are all part of your job, as is instructing customers on how to use the systems. In addition to professional skills and knowledge and excellent training, we also impart initiative and independence through joint projects for trainees. We place great emphasis on fun at work and a good working atmosphere.

At least Mittlere Reife (secondary school leaving certificate) or good to very good Hauptschulabschluss (secondary school leaving certificate)
