Electrical Engineer (Mission-Critical Projects)

As an Electrical Engineer on mission-critical projects, you will support the full lifecycle from design to handover on flagship data centre developments in Frankfurt. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating design information, procurement, and on-site activities to meet tight milestones. The role offers exposure to advanced electrical systems and a clear path to senior engineering and package management. This position emphasizes collaboration, quality, and efficient delivery in a high-stakes environment.

• Liaise with client design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support engineering needs
• Manage and maintain engineering task logs to track deliverables, deadlines, and actions
• Review IFC design documentation, specifications, and scope of works
• Coordinate design and translate information into installation drawings via BIM teams
• Generate, track, and close RFIs to resolve design/coordination issues
• Assist site teams to ensure works comply with specifications, standards, and codes
• Support quality management activities on site, including inspections and handover
• Review subcontractor and supplier tenders for alignment with design intent
• Ensure engineering activities align with project programme and milestones

• 5–7 years’ experience with a recognised electrical contractor or engineering delivery organisation
• Strong electrical engineering background in complex construction environments
• Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capability
• Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering database systems
• Familiarity with Primavera or similar project planning software
• Solid understanding of CAD / BIM coordination processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience on mission-critical or data centre projects
• Knowledge of modularisation and off-site fabrication techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
