Engineer TEST Development

As a Test Development Engineer in GF’s Dresden Test Facility, you will design and implement test concepts, hardware, and software to validate SOC devices. You’ll work closely with technology development, yield, and quality teams to transfer test programs into production. You will conduct electrical characterization of memory, logic, mixed-signal, and RF components to support process and yield efforts. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape test solutions for advanced mobility, Industry 4.0, and 5G initiatives in Europe. You’ll join a collaborative team at a company delivering cutting-edge semiconductor technology globally.

• Develop test concepts, hardware and programs for functional testing of devices with memory, NVM, logic, and mixed-signal/RF components
• Electrical characterization of NVM, memory, logic, and mixed-signal/RF devices to support technology development, yield engineering, and quality teams
• Install, correlate and release test programs and hardware for production
• Drive yield optimization, reduce test time, and continuously improve test processes
• Create test project documentation

• Completed Master’s Degree or Diploma in information technology/communications engineering/electrical engineering/physics or comparable
• Professional experience in electrical testing is beneficial
• Very good knowledge of electronic measurement methods
• Programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python
• Knowledge in test hardware design (schematics, probe hardware preparation) is an advantage
• Knowledge in memory test procedures is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
