Engineering Manager, Media Foundations and Delivery (Fully Remote)

• Drive infrastructure modernization to elevate media to a first-class citizen.
• Optimize playback and delivery, tracking key QoS metrics like Time to First Frame and stall rates.
• Manage global distribution via CDNs, edge computing, and caching, and standardize formats like HLS and MPEG-DASH.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, with 8+ years of industry experience including 3+ years in engineering management.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python) and strong background in video streaming, CDN routing, and media ingestion.
• Proven ability to balance immediate performance fixes with long-term architectural overhauls and define SLOs/SLIs.
