EPC Civil Engineer

About the Role

The role involves professional supervision of civil works in energy storage EPC projects, ensuring quality, safety, and workmanship throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for professional supervision of civil works in energy storage EPC projects.
• Supervise subcontractors’ civil construction and control civil quality, safety, and construction workmanship.
• Review special civil construction plans and conduct incoming acceptance of civil materials and acceptance of concealed works such as foundation and subgrade.
• Patrol and stand watch over on-site civil works, identify safety and quality defects, urge subcontractors to rectify and track issue closure.
• Coordinate cross-construction between civil works and electrical disciplines, participate in acceptance of civil sub-items and divisional works, and support overall completion acceptance.
• Prepare and organize civil supervision documents including supervision logs, acceptance records, and image files to ensure standardized and complete documents.
• Carry out management in accordance with civil codes and energy storage station standards, and implement civilized construction management on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related disciplines; supervision certificates are preferred.

Required Skills

• Can speak German and is highly skilled at communicating with local subcontractors or construction teams.
• Over 3 years of civil supervision experience in new energy power stations; familiar with construction standards for energy storage station foundations, floors, and structures.
• Proficient in inspection of civil raw materials and acceptance procedures for foundations; capable of independently controlling quality and safety risks of civil construction.
• Able to use English as working language for multi-party communication and document preparation; European project experience is preferred.
• Competent in on-site inspection, hazard identification, and multi-party coordination; strong execution and rigorous work attitude.
• Able to be stationed at project site and adapt to stand-watch and acceptance work at civil construction sites.

• European project experience is preferred.
