Expert EH&S Safety Data Management (m/f/d)

In this role you ensure compliant GHS classification, labeling and safety data sheet creation for Symrise materials globally. You will keep SDS and product safety data up to date, monitor regulatory changes, and collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain. You help internal and external stakeholders with GHS classifications and safety data inquiries. You join a cross-functional, international team to support safe, compliant products at scale.

• Perform global GHS classification and labeling of products
• Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets for global markets
• Ensure accuracy of safety-related data (physical-chemical, toxicological, ecotoxicological)
• Monitor and implement regulatory changes affecting classifications and SDSs
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Supply Chain and business stakeholders
• Support internal and external inquiries related to GHS classifications and SDSs

• University degree in Chemical Sciences, Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences or comparable field
• Experience in GHS classification and labeling and SDS preparation
• Basic understanding of REACH regulations and chemical compliance requirements
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in an international environment
• IT skills, ideally with SAP or related compliance systems
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Additional language skills (German) are advantageous
