As an external lecturer for ADSAI courses at SRH University Heidelberg, you will deliver hands-on instruction in statistics, machine learning, Python, data management, and AI topics to support practical student projects. You will teach in a cross-disciplinary program, collaborating with module leads to ensure current content and industry relevance. Expect to guide labs, coding exercises, and assessments while emphasizing real-world applications of data science. This role offers the chance to shape student learning within a renowned private university and to work on cutting-edge AI topics like LLMs and agentic AI.

• Teach Statistics & Machine Learning with a focus on practical implementation
• Teach Python software development (OOP, APIs, testing, data processing, automation)
• Demonstrate data technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, dbt, Neo4j, ETL/ELT pipelines) and visualization tools (Tableau)
• Develop hands-on labs, coding exercises, applied projects, and assessments
• Coordinate content with module and program leads and support students

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics or a related field
• Strong expertise in at least one of the listed modules
• Relevant academic and/or industry experience
• Very good English and strong teaching/communication skills
• Previous university teaching experience is an advantage
