Facility Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will ensure the reliability of utility services across the facility and collaborate with site partners on maintenance, installations, and upgrades. You will manage contractors, plan new installations and decommissioning of production systems, and maintain installation records. The position includes emergency support and holds responsibility as a Certified Electrical Specialist (VEFK). You will work in a cross-functional setting to support production facilities and compliance with standards, driving reliable operations at our Itzehoe site.

• Ensure reliability of utility services within area of responsibility
• Collaborate with site partners on maintenance, installations, or modifications
• Select contractors, manage awards and coordination of external service providers
• Plan and implement new installations and decommissioning of production facilities or utility systems
• Create and maintain installation documentation, layouts, and records
• Assist with emergency response and troubleshooting
• Fulfill duties of Certified Electrical Specialist (VEFK) per laws and standards

• Bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or master craftsman’s certification in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of building services engineering beyond office buildings
• Experience in production cleanrooms (preferred) and environmental management or occupational safety (preferred)
• Structured, independent, solution-oriented approach
• Strong sense of responsibility and conscientiousness
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Very good German and English language skills
