Finance Manager

As Finance Manager for South Asia Pacific, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and full P&L analysis for the region from Malaysia. You collaborate with the Asia Pacific Finance Director and country leads to drive financial performance and reporting quality. You will oversee cash flow management, accounting operations, regulatory reporting and tax/compliance, while partnering with regional teams on processes and audits. This role offers impact across multiple markets and strengthens financial controls in a dynamic, multinational environment. You will work to ensure timely close, accurate reporting and strategic insight to support growth.

• Prepare periodic budget and forecast with full P&L analysis for South Asia Pacific, including monthly reporting and variance review with senior management
• Plan and manage cash position and working capital optimization
• Oversee accounting operations: billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and revenue recognition (IFRS 15)
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and support month-end/year-end close
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage local and national government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Oversee project administration and credit control resources
• Liaise with regional teams to review transactional processing
• Lead audit and taxation activities
• Oversee revenue recognition with operations and inter-company reconciliations/recharges for the offshore centre
• Handle ad hoc tasks as requested

• CPA qualified or relevant
• Minimum of 3 years' experience
• Experience managing remote teams desirable
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and procedures
• At least 2 years' auditing experience at an international accounting firm
• At least 2 years' experience in a multinational company; consultancy/engineering company preferred
• Proven accounting experience in long-term contract revenue recognition
• Good business acumen
• Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in verbal and written English
