FMCG Managing Director (MD) - Germany

Position Overview:

Morgan Latif has partnered with an established international branded food & beverage business to appoint a Managing Director, Germany. The role holds full P&L responsibility for the German market and will lead the further development of the local organisation, with a focus on profitable growth, trade relationships and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

General Management & Commercial Strategy

• Hold overall responsibility for the German business and develop the local entity as a standalone organisation.
• Define and implement the market strategy, setting clear growth priorities across the brand portfolio.
• Own the P&L, driving profitable growth across channels

Customer & Market Development

• Strengthen existing retail and trade relationships and unlock new opportunities in the German market.
• Drive omni-channel performance across grocery retail, foodservice/out-of-home and e-commerce.
• Represent the business externally with customers and partners, and internally as the voice of the German market.

Leadership & Organisational Development

• Lead and develop a marketing and sales team
• Build out structures, processes and interfaces so the organisation operates efficiently and close to the market.
• Work closely with the international parent organisation and its senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Several years of leadership and general management experience within FMCG, food or branded consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of the German retail landscape, ideally with an established network in the LEH.
• Demonstrable experience across strategy, business development, sales, marketing and P&L ownership.
• Omni-channel experience spanning retail, foodservice/OOH and e-commerce.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution focus and genuine enjoyment in building businesses and bringing people with you.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with credibility in front of internal and external stakeholders.
• Modern, people-oriented leadership style with energy, clarity and team spirit.
• Fluent in German and English.

Please note, this role is based in the Frankfurt area, Germany, with regular travel and close collaboration with the international head office.
