FMEA Moderator (m/f/d) - Automotive (REMOTE)

As a FMEA Moderator, you will drive risk identification and mitigation in automotive product and process development. You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team to plan, moderate, and document FMEA workshops and ensure effective actions. You will produce risk reports aligned with automotive standards and monitor action completion. You will help standardize FMEA processes and continuously improve designs and production. • Plan, moderate, and document design and process FMEA workshops to identify risks and drive mitigation
• Provide Product and Process Risk Reports aligned with automotive standards and customer requirements
• Monitor effectiveness of FMEA actions, escalate delays when needed
• Develop company-specific FMEA modules to standardize risk analysis processes
• Regularly review and update FMEAs, incorporating lessons learned into design and production processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years in the automotive industry with a focus on design and process FMEA
• Strong knowledge of FMEA methodology and standards (AIAG-VDA, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Experience with APIS IQRM Pro FMEA Software
• Excellent English communication; German a plus
• Strong moderation and cross-functional leadership skills
• Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel within the EMIA region
