Rate: Day Rate DOE (Dependent on Experience)

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join a leading hyperscale data centre project in Germany. This role will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) works throughout the construction and commissioning phases of a major mission-critical development.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience delivering large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects and possess a strong track record of managing MEP teams, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships on complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all MEP packages across the project lifecycle.
• Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors and specialist vendors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
• Interface with project management, design, commissioning, and client teams.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Review technical submissions, RFIs, method statements, and programme updates.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry best practice.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders and project leadership teams.
• Current right to work within the European Union (EU).
• Proven experience working as an MEP Lead, Senior MEP Manager, MEP Manager, or equivalent.
• Previous delivery experience on hyperscale data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Extensive knowledge of commissioning and handover processes.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Germany.
• Previous experience on projects exceeding €100m in value.
• Experience working with major international contractors or client-side data centre operators.
