Overview

As Global Technical Instructional Designer you will shape Hitachi Energy’s HV learning program by crafting role-based, micro-learning content for a global workforce. You’ll help build the inaugural Global HV Learning Center of Expertise and align training with safety, quality, and compliance standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional experts to design engaging content, assessments, and certifications that accelerate skill development. This role offers meaningful impact through scalable, hands-on learning in a complex engineering environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge needs and create targeted content
Architect the Global HV Learning Center of Expertise
Design skill- and role-based objectives, assessments, stories, scenarios, and multimedia content
Analyze skill matrices to close knowledge gaps and develop training material
Produce guides, infographics, videos, interactive activities, and gamified elements while upholding safety and quality standards
Interpret analytics to drive continuous improvement and address feedback
Accelerate onboarding and skill advancement through structured content
Lead and track multiple projects to ensure timely, quality delivery
Develop and maintain on-the-job training documentation and hands-on learning resources

Zentrale Anforderungen

Advanced knowledge of adult micro-learning and skill-based training design
Experience with high-stakes internal examinations
Proficiency in Camtasia, Articulate 360 (Storyline, Review, Rise), Screen Capture, Vyond, Synthesia, Adobe Creative Suite, and LMS
Minimum 10 years in adult learning/content management in manufacturing, engineering, higher education, or technology
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication across the organization
Flexibility to adapt training approaches to evolving needs
