Group Accountant (m/f/d)

In this role you own end-to-end accounting for Chaos’s holding entities and oversee group consolidation as Global Process Owner. You will manage the full close cycle across multiple jurisdictions, liaise with auditors and statutory bodies, and drive standardization and automation of consolidation processes. Your work enables accurate, timely financial statements and scalable finance operations across the group. This is a hands-on, cross-border, process-improvement-focused position in a global tech environment.

• Own the full accounting cycle for Holdings and Management entities (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, monthly/quarterly/annual close) across 8 jurisdictions
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory filings
• Manage local treasury and payment cycles in coordination with the group finance team
• Define and maintain global consolidation standards; harmonize workflows and drive automation in NetSuite and connected tools
• Lead month-end and year-end closing to ensure consolidation per international accounting standards
• Support Accounting Director with finance process improvement to enhance efficiency
• Operate with Lucanet to ensure data integrity and prepare consolidated financial statements

• International corporate finance accounting experience
• German statutory requirements and local GAAP experience; IFRS advantageous
• Experience with large international group consolidations and international standards
• Proven track record in driving finance process improvements
• Advanced command of German GAAP and local statutory reporting
• Detailed knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
• Hands-on NetSuite or comparable ERP experience; finance tooling in software product environment
• Strong command of LucaNet for consolidation
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus
• Process-improvement mindset and ability to implement scalable solutions across a global group
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA) advantageous but not required
