Job Description

Shape the future of Customer Logistics and Order Management in a global Automotive environment. As Head of Customer Logistics & Order Management Automotive (m/f/diverse), you will be responsible for leading and further developing a globally aligned Customer Logistics and Order Management organization, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, reliable customer delivery performance and stakeholder alignment across the Automotive segment.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation from plant-based local teams to a globally aligned Customer Logistics and Order Management organization, establishing harmonized processes and ways of working
• Take overall responsibility for the global Customer Logistics and Order Management function across the Automotive segment
• Lead and continuously develop customer logistics operations, ensuring reliable customer supply, delivery performance and operational excellence across the BA SSL Automotive segment
• Drive continuous performance improvements to meet and exceed customer expectations regarding order processing, communication, and service quality
• Ensure seamless end-to-end processing of customer orders from order receipt to successful fulfillment
• Ensure timely and accurate order confirmations as well as on-time and in-full deliveries
• Oversee the maintenance and management of order data and SAP/EDI processes
• Act as the key interface between customers, manufacturing locations and internal supply chain functions to ensure reliable customer supply and delivery performance
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing locations and external partners to ensure seamless order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and internal requirements and standards.
• Drive effective communication and escalation management between the global GBS COM team and local organizations

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
• Several years of leadership experience at business area or segment level, or in a comparable leadership role
• Several years of solid experience in Customer Service, Customer Order Management, Customer Logistics, Service Center Management, or a comparable function
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid experience in order management, demand fulfillment processes, and system-supported operations (e.g. SAP)
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain management tools, methods, and best practices
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
• Solid experience leading or contributing to international and cross-functional projects
• Experience in global data analytics, reporting, and performance management
• Fluent English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
