Head of Finance (m/f/x)

In this hands-on Head of Finance role, you will own and execute Skeleton’s financial function in a fast-moving production environment. You’ll shape the company’s financial strategy while leading day-to-day finance activities to support growth and operational discipline. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, controls, audits, and reporting to the Supervisory Board and shareholders. This role combines strategic influence with practical execution in a high-growth, manufacturing-focused setting. You will work cross-functionally to enable scale and contribute to a net-zero future through cleantech leadership.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management aligned with production and operations
• Build and manage a high-performing finance team to support growth
• Develop and maintain financial controls, risk management, and compliance systems
• Manage audits, EU grant reporting, and relationships with banks, auditors, and third-party providers
• Implement and improve financial processes to maintain efficiency during scale
• Report financial results and insights to Supervisory Board and shareholders

• Senior finance leadership experience (Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or similar)
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and audits
• Background in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and compliance
• Proficient IFRS knowledge
• Experience with banks, auditors, and EU or grant-funded projects a plus
• Strategic thinker with operational execution skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment
