About HPTec

HPTec GmbH is an internationally operating, medium-sized company based in Ravensburg, Germany. We develop, manufacture, and market high-quality solid carbide micro-drilling and micro-milling tools for customers around the world.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Sales (m/f/d) to join us in Ravensburg.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and expand new markets and market segments in the field of micro cutting tools
• Manage, develop, and strengthen existing sales territories and customer markets
• Expand international customer relationships and acquire new customers and strategic business partners
• Lead and support Key Account Managers in commercial and sales activities involving key customers
• Ensure the achievement of sales and business targets relating to revenue, profitability, sales volume, and market share
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to develop and implement sustainable sales and growth strategies
• Identify, coordinate, and successfully implement customer projects
• Manage and develop strategic key accounts and international sales partners
• Analyse market and customer information to identify opportunities and implement targeted measures
• Actively contribute to corporate and sales planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and action planning
• Manage and optimise sales processes while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the standards of the integrated management system
• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership, motivate the sales team, and support its ongoing development
• Lead price and contract negotiations with national and international customers
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Application Engineering, Production, and R&D
• Represent HPTec at international trade fairs, industry events, and key customer meetings
• Regularly report to senior management on sales performance, market developments, and strategic business opportunities

Your Profile

• Degree in a technical or business-related field, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the cutting tools industry
• Industry knowledge of solid carbide shank tools is an advantage
• Experience in managing and developing international sales representatives and distribution partners
• Good written and spoken English skills; French language skills are a plus
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office
• Strong customer and market orientation combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strategic, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
